While searching for options, we came to realize the high cost. Not only financially, but even more so, the emotional cost of moving our loved ones into a nursing home or assisted living facility. The costs were high ($8,000-$10,000 entry-level) and the care substandard. We didn’t want to warehouse our aging loved ones, with strangers, many of whom were just there for a paycheck. The thought of our loved ones being lonely and afraid, in a strange place with strange people was not acceptable.
Why All Hours Home Healthcare?
We also investigated various in-home nursing and home-care companies, in some cases, the levels of care were shockingly low and unacceptable. It was decided to create an organization of our own; with the goal of providing the most compassionate, high-quality, patient and family-centered care. All Hours Home Healthcare witnessed far too many patients were falling through the cracks of the big outfits treating patients like reimbursement numbers not PEOPLE. We set out to fill all the gaps and provide solutions that will help people stay at home when home means the most. Helping our friends and neighbors live independently and safely at home in Eastern Massachusetts.
